That is probably a feeling shared by many Madrid fans.
Here are how things stand Arsenal wise. Mesut Ozil and Emiliano Viviano are just awaiting announcement. Talks with Chelsea over Ba are ongoing. Di Maria deal looking unlikely now. Could move for Abel Hernandez. Wenger certainly wants another striker before the end of play today.
Three big names of course. Marouane Fellaini, Leighton Baines and Ander Herrera. I understand Baines deal is unlikely. He has linked up with England but could be released if a bid from United comes. Moyes has wanted Fellaini for a few weeks, Everton want £25 mill. Little choice for Bilbao over Herrera as he has a 36 mill euro release clause which United are willing to match. Expect activity this evening.
Tensions are mounting on Moyes. Imagine if he lets Rooney go now....
@DannyB123 - Rumours certainly gathering pace about that one. Certainly question marks over whether Reading would meet his wage demands though.
Interesting one from Mail Online. They claim Arsenal have had a bid turned down for Barcelona's Javier Mascherano. Never likely to succeed with that one.
DONE DEAL - Palermo confirm that their goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano has joined Arsenal on loan.
@Allan - Wenger said he only wants to sign super players. But he definitely would like another striker so a new name may appear on that front.
Viviano joins on a season-long loan with an option for Arsenal to purchase him at a fee believed to be around 6 million euros next summer. The 27-year-old has six caps for Italy.
Has been a long old slog but they appear to be bringing a good squad together.
Rather than Arsenal, the Telegraph are reporting that Tottenham are lining up a late £18 million bid for Javier Hernandez.
DONE DEAL - Aston Villa confirm the signing of Libor Kozak from Lazio.
The striker was the top scorer in the Europa League last season.
@Nathan - Liverpool probably all done now. May decide to bring in Shay Given but apart from that nothing major on the Liverpool front...probably.
Rather ambitious from Spurs if this one is true... Sky Italia reporting Chelsea turned down an Emannuel Adebayor and Fernando Torres swap deal.
Chasing a striker, Hull City have enquired about Shane Long. Can't see Baggies letting him go unless they get someone else in.
