There are plenty of players who Louis van Gaal wants to get rid of so if they don't go today then you would imagine they would be available again in January.
No sign of Odemwingie yet but he is still playing a big role in deadline day. Stoke could be moving back into the market after he picked up an injury at Man City on Saturday.
DONE DEAL: Hull City announce the signing of Uruguayan striker Abel Hernandez on a three-year deal.
BREAKING NEWS: QPR have a £10 million bid for Fabio Borini accepted from Liverpool.
DONE DEAL: Swindon sign Jonathan Obika from Tottenham on a two year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Blackburn added Shane Duffy from Everton this morning but nothing else from them yet. Keeping hold of Jordan Rhodes is obviously the key for this window and that looks pretty certain now.
Duffy is a 22-year-old Northern Irish defender who was previously at Everton and spent last season on loan at Yeovil.
That would be nice but not going to happen today!
Interesting you should say that Patrick. West Ham wanted to sign one player today but I'm hearing they've now changed their mind and are targeting two. Maybe Defoe!?
Seems like Fellaini will be sticking around for now. An injury has put him out of the limelight a bit and will have further deterred any suitors.
West Ham do have a lot of strikers though and already added Valencia and Zarate this summer. Rumours also that Defoe is looking for around £90,000 per week.
Wishful thinking or have you heard something we don't know!?
Ah yes I was going to mention Malouda. He has had a falling out with the new manager at Trabzonspor and is now a free agent. At 34 though I can't see Arsenal making a move but he was linked with Leicester earlier this summer. Of course, that would not have to be completed today though.
