There are more tailend runs coming - they're a bit streaky as Pattinson squirts one just wide of gully but they all count
It's not a concern yet as this partnership is only 16 runs but England finishing off the tail.............it's getting to be a bit irritating isn't it?
Graeme Swann messes up a caught and bowled chance. Bowlers don't normally drop catches off their own bowling #averages
This last wicket partnership now worth 24 as there's an outside edge off Harris's bat that runs away for 4. England and their lack of killer instinct at the end. It's all very odd.
And as I type that Australia are all out for 128. They trail by 233. Don't expect England to enforce any follow-on though. They won't - they probably should but they won't
So Graeme Swann takes a 5 wicket haul and he has bowled exceptionally well.
Aussies are out in the middle bowling at plastic stumps so I think we know what's going on.....
ENGLAND SECOND INNINGS
Ryan Harris has to quick get his pads off and get back out to take the new ball. There is no rest for these Rhinos.
Interesting - Pattinson hasn't been given the new ball. Clarke has given it to Watson.
Cook gets off the mark with 2 lots of 2 runs from the first over. England have enough now surely? Declare?
Root gets a life as he flashes at wide one that goes between keeper and 1st slip but it was at a lovely height and that's got to be the keeper's catch - they just left it for each other. Dreadful cricket
For once Australia make a correct referral decision - they decide not to review a shout against Joe Root.
I'm still chuckling at the death stare Clarke gave Haddin after the missed catch that went between them.
Ryan Harris has been replaced by Peter Siddle from the pavilion end. We're into the back end of the day and the shadows of the grandstand are creeping longer on to the outfield
Nothing much doing from the Aussie bowlers who are bowling mostly wide of off stump which Root and Cook really don't mind leaving. There's most of this match left they can just sit it out.
The score isn't racing along but that doesn't matter at all in these circumstances. Both Root and Cook need some time in the middle, just time - the runs will come
So much for batting time. Cook is out - bowled by Peter Siddle. Cook tried to drive a length ball and edge it back on to his stumps.
Oh dear oh dear. This is a batting horror show all round.
That's not great from Trott, he got his defence all wrong. He didn't get forward or back and there's an inside edge on to his stumps.
Top shot! Pietersen pulls Pattinson to the mid wicket boundary. Power and timing.
Siddle has his tail up here. He gets some extra lift and Root just about fends it away through gulley for three.
That's a poor shot from Pietersen. He could have left it. Instead, he drives a full and wide one straight to Rogers at point. This is a great spell of bowling from Siddle.
Do England have a new nightwatchman? Bresnan comes to the crease. You might have to wait for tomorrow for another Ian Bell masterclass, it seems.
