I think Andrew Miller - the editor of The Cricketer magazine sums it up below
I'd be really interested in your views on the DRS. Overall do you think the benefits outweigh the problems?
Trott drops Khawaja - an absolute dolly at first slip.
@Dazza: You are probably right Dazza unless we get an Agar, Haddin, Pattinson special
HERE WE GO AGAIN.
England think they've got Hughes but he reviews straight away.
Philip Hughes is out. A faint edge behind off a ball from Bresnan. Should have left Hughes at 7.
In comes Michael Clarke who's dropped himself down to 5
Well that was a frenetic bit of play when everyone is in the post-lunch lull and half the crowd haven't made it back from their corporate hospitality.
Australia are reduced to 54/3 . Better than England's 28/3 though
And now there's a shout for a run out. Bairstow shies at the stumps but he's made his ground by a long way.
Sheesh - could they all calm down a bit, I can't type fast enough
Right. Have we caught our breathe yet after that period of madness?
So where are we? Australia are 61 for 3. Shane Warne has had a whinge about the Hughes dismissal but he's wrong, snicko showed Hughes hit it, Australia are absolutely HOPELESS at using the review system.
Oi Shane - back in ya box. Stop ya whingeing #watsonwhinge
Good grief that is a TERRIBLE shot by Khawaja, goes for a big heave-ho which comes off the toe of the bat into the air and snaffled by a back peddling KP. There was absolutely NO need for that shot in these circumstances.
@shaun: I think you are right Shaun unless we get a fun last wicket partnership again. This is terrible by Australia's top order isn't it?
@Darren: it might yet come to that Darren
Blimey. A bit of calm. Steven Smith will steady the ship (erm maybe)
Anyway - I've thrown a question out on Twitter (@msnsport) : Should Michael Clarke be batting higher than 5?
Australia have made to the drinks break without losing any more wickets. Wonders might never cease
Swann was getting some prodigious turn before drinks. This is going to be very very difficult for Michael Clarke who has all the pressure on him here.
Michael Clarke really is a phenomenally good player of spin. Knows absolutely whether to be on the front or back foot and doesn't get caught in between like so many players. He's moved onto 23 off 32 balls and looking quite ominous - which is just as well for the state of this match.
WICKET Oh for crying out loud. This is hopeless. Now Steve Smith is out for 2 - caught short leg. Some BIG bounce from Swann and a nice little snaffle from Bell
This is beautiful bowling from Swann who has taken 3 for 23. The pitch is exactly right for him and exactly how it wasn't at Trent Bridge - there's a nice little bit of bounce to enable him to get the turn and the drift that makes him dangerous.
