Agar probes away outside Broad's off stump and the England man is resolute in defence. Agar earns a moral victory as Broad squirts one away with bat and pad. Maiden.
Over 133 England 326/6 Broad 47* Bell 95*
Pattinson bowls the last over of the day. Looks like Bell will have to wait until tomorrow for his ton. The Aussie finds Bell's inside edge with his second ball. Pattinson goes fuller and finds some reverse swing but Bell is equal to it. Bell squeezes an attempted inswinging yorker away for a single before Broad watches the last ball of the day sail down the leg side. That is stumps. England lead by 261.
Players and umpires are coming out to the tunes of Jerusalem. It's a boiling hot day at Trent Bridge and another packed house.
Over 134 England 335/6 Bell 99* Broad 47*
It's Starc to start and he starts with a shoulder high full toss between keeper and first slip. Nearly takes out Clarke. The second ball is off the face of Bell's bat through slip down to 3rd man to take him to 99

Over 137 England 344/6 Broad 55* Bell 100*
Pattinson from the Pavilion end , he hasn't bowled well this morning. Wayward and lacking control. Broad can pick up 3 easy runs from that over angling one wide of gully then pushing one into the covers.
Over 138 England 345/6 Broad 56* Bell 100*
Left armer Mitchell Starc to Broad and there's tennis ball bounce - not really going anywhere. Broad gets an inside edge to square leg for a single. There's another full toss from Starc to finish the over - he's all over the place says Michael Atherton
Over 139 England 348/6 Broad 59* Bell 100*
A very good fuller length ball by Pattinson is punched down the ground by Broad allowing them to run 3. The next ball is full and on the stumps but solidly defended by Bell.
A word on Bell - it was one of the great Test centuries and probably Bell's most important. He's been under some pressure - accused of not performing when it matters. This will have silenced some of those critics
Over 140 England 355/6 Broad 65* Bell 100*
Peter Siddle has come on for Starc at the Radcliffe Road End, His first ball is a no ball that is angled out by Broad in front of point to take England to 350. He finds a better line and length for the second ball of the over defended away by Broad. The 4th ball is a back foot punch from Broad through mid-on for 4- it's a lovely shot.
Bit of swing through the air but this pitch is SLOW.
Over 141 England 356/7 Bell 101* Swann 0*
The "walking" debate is raging on. There's plenty of arguments on both sides in today's papers. My own view is that Broad was perfectly entitled to stand his ground.
Pattinson continues and gets the wicket of Stuart Broad - it's a good length ball that finds the outside edge and flies through to Haddin. Broad walks off to a standing ovation. That ends of the partnership of 138
That brings Graeme Swann to the crease.
Over 142 England 356/7 Swann 0* Bell 101*
SIddle bowling to Bell - in the channel outside off. Bell either leaves alone or pushes into the off-side for no run. A maiden over from Siddle. The lead is now 291.
Over 143 England 356/7 Bell 101( Swann 0*
Pattinson bowling to Swann who misreads the first ball and nearly loses his off stump. Pattinson then gets a little bit of movement inducing a false shot from Swann. A good maiden from Pattinson who is bowling a nice fuller length just outside the off. The final ball is a cracker that comes back in on Swann and squares him up
Over 145 England 364/7 Bell 109* Swann 0*
A very first 4 balls from Peter Siddle, probing lengths nothing wide. Bell is watchful and solid in defence. But the 5th ball is over-pitched to try and get reverse swing but it does nothing and Bell can play a sumptuous drive for 4. The final ball is played fantastically by Bell - a late cut for 4. The lead is 299
